Anna Olaes Parker is a Canadian Filipina artist living in Gothenburg. She recently finished her MFA at the Umeå Academy of Fine Arts. Inspired by amateur creativity in online communities and the everyday, her work includes deliberate imperfections in order to be more accessible and to engage with a broad audience. Focusing on digital/painting, sculpture, and installations, Anna works with themes encompassing gender, sexuality, nostalgia and feelings.
